The Brain Balance Studio process consists of an initial assessment, six training sessions and then a final assessment, called an Intensive.
The brain mapping takes approximately 1 1/2 hours, and using an EEG machine, simply records brain activity at your frontal, central, occipital, parietal, and temporal regions. From this assessment various training protocols are recommended by the software, and based on your subjective analysis (a questionnaire you fill out regarding how you sleep, make decisions, etc.) we then customise the 6 training sessions to your specific requirements.
Each training session thereafter takes 2 hours, and generally it's best to do at least 1 session, per day (hence the term "intensive") until all 6 sessions are complete. During the sessions, you will undertake a variety of tasks on the computer depending on what you are trying to achieve. EEG measurements will be taken from relevant positions on your head while you are carrying out the tasks, and feedback given to your brain by means of earphones. A fully trained technician will guide you through every step of the procedure.
Optimise the process
All you are required to do is starting the week prior to training, during the week of training, and for 3 weeks afterwards, is eat lots of protein and drink lots of water. You should abstain from alcohol during this period. It is best to avoid treatments such as acupuncture and sacro-cranial work. The reason for this is that your brain will be building new neural nets, and you would want to afford your brain the best opportunity to accept these changes in order to benefit fully.
